Reference Management Applications

EndNote is an established  and feature-rich reference management application available to SA Health staff for installation on their work computers. Contact Digital Health SA to request an installation. 

SA Health staff who desire reference management software on their personal devices may wish to consider Mendeley or Zotero, which are both free options. For support with these products, please see the Mendeley help pages and Zotero help pages

EndNote Basic is an online EndNote account that can be set up for free, but has fewer features than the desktop version of EndNote and is best used as an adjunct to this product rather than on its own.

EndNote Desktop is the reference management application supported by SA Health Library Service. For support with EndNote Desktop, please request a training session with the Library. 

No matter which reference management application you choose, you should still check your references for accuracy and conformity to your desired style.
